8 Futuristic Buildings With Jaw Dropping Concepts & Designs

Designing a building is very easy, especially with the help of modern programs, everyone can make a strikingly fantastic building design that will surely wow everyone. However, executing the design is yet another story. Buildings must meet a very strict structure code to make it functional and at the same time safe to nearby structures and to the people.

In this day and age, building designs are getting funkier and indeed more modern. Architects are thinking out of the box to produce unique structures far from traditional plans and conventional building layouts. And these 8 futuristic buildings found all over the world is the leading proof that space-age architectural concepts are now becoming a near reality.

1. The Lotus Building – Wujin, China

2. Atomium – Brussels, Belgium

3. The Absolute Towers – Toronto, Canada

4. Al Bahr Towers – Abu Dhabi, UAE

5. Sub-Biosphere 2

6. The Galaxy Soho Building – Beijing, China

7. Ordos Museum – Inner Mongolia, China

8. Rainforest Guardian Skyscraper – Amazon

While most of these futuristic buildings are still in concept phase, like the Sub-Biosphere 2, many of the above structures are now actually erected. If you have all the time (and money) in the world to travel, you can visit the Ordos Museum which opened last 2011, the Galaxy Soho building still in China that was completed since 2012, and the Al Bahr Towers of UAE opened way back 1st quarter of 2012.
